I had Holly from Derby RSPCA after losing my faithful friend and companion Furbie in November 2010 to thrombosis. Furbie was only eight years old and far too young to die. I decided to have a kitten after this so that I wouldn't have to go through this heartache again for a very long time. That wasn't to be. Holly was only ten weeks old when I had her and only eight months old when I lost her to FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), an evil virus with no current cure.
