It was a week before I was due to go to Morocco and Holly really was very weak. When I picked her up after being speyed they said if she seemed to keep losing weight to bring her back so I did. She stayed in all day on a drip to rehydrate her. The vet said that she was very dehydrated, constipated and didn't look too good at all. She wanted to take some blood from her too. When I spoke to them again at the end of the day on the phone, they wanted to keep her in for another day on the drip but I really wanted to bring her home as she was still young and had never spent a night away from home since i'd had her. They agreed to me doing that as long as I brought her back first thing in the morning. So I did and she went through it all again. This was the beginning of the end for poor little Holly.
